1 cup of finely ground coffee1 cup of melt-and-pour soap base (you can find this at craft stores or online)1 tablespoon of coffee grounds for texture (optional)1 tablespoon of coconut oil or olive oil (optional, for added moisture)Essential oils for fragrance (optional)

Instructions

Start by melting the melt-and-pour soap base. You can do this by cutting the soap base into small cubes and melting it in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, or by using a double boiler on the stove.Once the soap base is fully melted and smooth, add the finely ground coffee and optional coffee grounds to the mixture. Stir well to combine.If you’re adding coconut oil or olive oil for extra moisture, stir it into the soap mixture now.If desired, add a few drops of your favorite essential oils for fragrance. Stir well to evenly distribute the fragrance throughout the soap mixture.

Carefully pour the soap mixture into your soap molds. Tap the molds gently on the counter to release any air bubbles.Allow the soap to cool and harden completely, which usually takes a few hours.Once the soap is fully hardened, remove it from the molds and it’s ready to use!Coffee soap is known for its exfoliating properties and invigorating aroma.
